Day 1: Arrival in Kunming
Today, I arrived in Kunming, the capital city of Yunnan Province. As soon as I stepped out of the airport, I was greeted by the pleasant climate and the fresh air. I took a taxi to my hotel and after checking in, I decided to explore the city. I visited the Green Lake Park, where I enjoyed a peaceful walk surrounded by beautiful gardens and trees. In the evening, I had the opportunity to try some of the local cuisine at a nearby restaurant.
Day 2:石林 (Shilin)
Today, I went on a tour to Shilin, also known as the Stone Forest. It is a UNESCO World Heritage Site and one of China's most famous scenic spots. The landscape was truly stunning, with thousands of stone pillars and formations carved by nature over millions of years. I hiked through the park and took in the breathtaking views. It was an unforgettable experience!
Day 3: 大理 (Dali)
In the morning, I took a flight to Dali, a charming city located on the banks of Erhai Lake. After checking into my hotel, I rented a bike and cycled around the lake, enjoying the beautiful scenery and the fresh air. In the evening, I visited the Ancient City of Dali, where I strolled through the narrow streets and admired the traditional architecture.
Day 4: 喜洲 (Xizhou)
Today, I went to Xizhou, a nearby town famous for its traditional Bai ethnic culture. I visited the Bai family compound, where I learned about the unique customs and architecture of the Bai people. I also had the chance to try some local delicacies, such as the delicious Xizhou Baba, a type of bread made with rice flour.
Day 5: 丽江 (Lijiang)
In the morning, I took a bus to Lijiang, a city known for its rich history and cultural heritage. I checked into my hotel and then went to visit the Old Town of Lijiang, which is surrounded by mountains and has a unique water system. I explored the narrow streets, shops, and restaurants, and tried some of the local specialties, such as the famous Lijiang cuisine.
Day 6: 玉龙雪山 (Yulong Snow Mountain)
Today, I went on a tour to Yulong Snow Mountain, a stunning mountain range located near Lijiang. I took a cable car to the top of the mountain and enjoyed the breathtaking views of the snow-capped peaks and the surrounding landscape. It was an exhilarating experience, and I felt like I was on top of the world!
Day 7: 香格里拉 (Shangri-La)
In the morning, I took a bus to Shangri-La, a city located in the northwest of Yunnan Province. The city is known for its stunning natural beauty and unique culture. After checking into my hotel, I went to visit the Songzanlin Monastery, one of the largest Tibetan Buddhist monasteries in China. I was impressed by the intricate architecture and the spiritual atmosphere.
Day 8: 虎跳峡 (Tiger Leaping Gorge)
Today, I went on a tour to Tiger Leaping Gorge, one of the deepest gorges in the world. The scenery was simply stunning, with high cliffs and a roaring river. I hiked along the gorge and took in the breathtaking views. It was an unforgettable experience!
Day 9: 返回昆明 (Return to Kunming)
In the morning, I took a flight back to Kunming. I spent the rest of the day exploring the city and doing some last-minute shopping. I bought some souvenirs and gifts for my friends and family back home.
Day 10: Departure
Today, I left Kunming and embarked on my journey back home. I was sad to leave Yunnan, but I will always remember the beautiful landscapes, delicious food, and friendly people I encountered during my trip. I can't wait to share my experiences with my friends and family!
